Dive Insight:
While most grocers are touting Thanksgiving meal bundles for under $40, Amazon is showing off its competitive edge with a $25 meal that includes free delivery.
The meal bundle includes a slew of name brand offerings, including an 8 lb. Butterball frozen turkey, Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce and two McCormick turkey gravy mix packets. It also features two boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, Stove Top turkey stuffing, Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup, French’s Crispy fried onions and Nestlé Carnation evaporated milk, according to the announcement. Amazon private label items are also folded into the offering, such as russet potatoes, two cans of whole kernel corn, whole carrots, two cans of cut green beans, crescent rolls, pie crusts and organic pumpkin puree.

In 2025, Amazon ran a “Feed 5 for $25” Thanksgiving meal deal. And while this offering also included an 8 lb. Butterball turkey, the biggest difference between 2025 and 2026’s Thanksgiving meal bundles is that this year’s includes more ingredients, while last year’s consisted primarily of ready-to-eat or ready-to-heat goods, like Reser’s homestyle stuffing and pie from select national brands.
Amazon is running additional holiday deals throughout this month, including frozen turkey for 79 cents a pound, fresh turkey for 99 cents a pound, Thanksgiving staples for under $4, 40% off charcuterie and pantry snacks, and 40% off pre-made sides.
The company is also offering non-food deals ahead of Thanksgiving, such as 20% off select Hefty compostable plates, utensils and cups, and 20% off Ziploc containers and bags, the press release noted.
Amazon’s grocery business has gained momentum as the company has added perishables to its same-day delivery service. CEO Andy Jassy told investors last week during the company’s third-quarter earnings call that perishables and everyday essentials gross sales totaled close to $250 billion over the past year.
