Other retailers, including Weis Markets, Schnuck Markets, Cub Foods and Rite Aid, have also linked up with Cognira, according to the tech vendor’s website.
Over the last few months, the grocery industry has seen a swarm of price cuts, limited-time deals and updates to loyalty programs as food affordability concerns persist among consumers. Stop & Shop, for example, is offering a weekly rotating selection of $1 and under deals across departments, including fresh produce, snacks, beverages and household essentials, starting this Friday until Aug. 16.
