- The company named President and Chief Operating Officer Adam Caldecott as his successor. Caldecott’s appointment took effect Monday.

Caldecott is well-versed in Good Food Holdings’ operations. He began his career as a meat department clerk in 1995 for the company’s Bristol Farms chain and eventually worked his way up to serve in CEO leadership roles for multiple Good Food Holdings banners, including Bristol Farms.
“Neil’s leadership has helped build a thriving organization, and I am honored to succeed him,” Caldecott said in a statement. “Our future is rooted in the talented teams across our banners, our incredible customers, and the unique communities we serve. We will continue investing in our people, supporting innovation, and preserving the distinctive character that makes each of our brands special.”
Prior to joining Good Food Holdings, Stern was a senior partner at retail strategy and consulting firm McMillanDoolittle. He has also worked as a retail consultant for grocers like Albertsons, Publix, Harris Teeter and mass retailer E-Mart.
Good Food Holdings is the parent company of five grocery banners — Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres Natural Market, Metropolitan Market, New Seasons Market and New Leaf Community Markets — all of which maintain their own identities and local leadership, per the press release.
