New Storewise Ordering Tool Captures Profits & Saves Time
Storewise expands their Independent Grocer service platform with time-saving Ordering Module enhancements.
Leading grocery automation software company Storewise, announces the expansion of their platform to include ordering capabilities, enabling Independent Grocers to maximize cost savings before available discounts end. The new Storewise Ordering Module offers a consolidated dashboard for order placement, store-specific insights, order history and confirmation within one streamlined experience.
“The organization of higher moving items coming off allowance helps us capture extra gross when it makes sense for our stores,” says Mike Agrimson, Store Manager at Rushford Foods. “It is easy to use, helps us see opportunity, weekly movements, and discount percentage. That data helps us make informed decisions.”
The updates include a user-friendly slider control that sets the number of weeks to buy ahead on – allowing store associates to seamlessly auto-adjust their order quantities for all top performing items based on average weekly cases sold. Order quantities can also be adjusted by the user to meet more specific ordering needs.
“Storewise Ordering pulls all of a grocer’s relevant data together – including average weekly cases sold, discount percentage, projected weekly savings, and more – providing the reporting and purchasing tools necessary to take immediate action.” says Dennis Toney, 40+ year grocery industry veteran and Storewise Director of Retail.
“In the past, we have had to review all of the data points individually and manually. This is a good tool, creating savings on the main movers. This definitely helps capture profits with less time spent on my end” shared Agrimson.
Newly improved Ordering is one of many modules included within the Storewise grocery automation platform which protects and maximizes profits by using: Price Analysis and Price Manager, allowing owners to keep prices correct; Ordering bridge-buying program allowing retailers to order allowance items that are expiring and not coming back “on-deal” immediately; Risk Reduction, which provides POS exception reporting, catches losses and improves training opportunities; and TPR Automation, which increases gross margin by matching TPR’s to in-store pricing.
