• Jagermeister announced that it would launch its first new U.S. spin-off product, Jagermeister Spice, nationally as of Oct. 1.
• The new spirit will mix in cinnamon and vanilla flavors with Jagemeister's otherwise-traditional recipe.
• Michael Volke, a member of the Mast-Jagermeister SE executive board, said in a press release that as the company's "first major product extension in the United States in more than forty years, the launch of Jagermeister Spice signals an exciting moment in the company's history."

Dive Insight:

Jagermeister finally took the plunge into unexplored product territory with Spice. Though this new launch will keep  much of its sister-product's ingredient list intact, it's going to be interesting to see if it leads to other launches down the road.
