Raley’s Family of Stores is ramping up its loyalty game. On Tuesday, the regional grocery company launched Member Prices, a new loyalty program benefit that automatically applies savings at checkout.
Member Prices is Raley’s latest addition to its Something Extra loyalty program. The initiative applies discounts to eligible items automatically when a loyalty member enters their phone number at checkout. Accessing Member Prices’ discounts doesn’t require a loyalty card or clipped digital coupons, according to the press release. Shoppers can sign up for the Something Extra for free via text message or on Raley’s app and website.
“Our focus is on simplifying the shopping experience while continuing to deliver meaningful value,” Paul Gianetto, president of Raley’s, said in a statement.
Raley’s Something Extra loyalty program sends customers personalized offers based on products they buy and allows them to earn points when they purchase eligible items, according to Raley’s website.
Every three months, Raley’s converts shoppers’ points into “Something Extra Dollars” that can be used in-store or online, per the website. The program also provides birthday offers, free one-on-one appointments with registered dietitians, fuel rewards and the ability to book conference spaces at certain stores.
Raley’s Family of Stores consists of nearly 120 units under four banners — Raley’s, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Raley’s O-N-E Market — and is a division of The Raley’s Companies.
