Aldi knows it reels in shopper loyalty not just through low prices, but also with its creative merch.

Now, the discounter is taking perks for its fandom to a new level with the launch of its Aldi Quarter Club. Aldi shoppers can enter for a chance to win Aldi gift cards to cover a year’s worth of groceries along with additional exclusive prizes, according to a Monday announcement.
Aldi will select 25 winners based on answers to the question: “What is the boldest move you’ve made in the name of ALDI that sets you apart as a super fan.” Entries can’t exceed 200 words and must include at least one photo to “help bring the fandom to life.”
The winners will each receive $1,700 in Aldi gift cards — an amount calculated based on the company’s 2025 Price Leadership Report, and also receive:
- An exclusive invite to a members-only event in the grocer’s hometown.
- A custom varsity-style Quarter Club jacket plus additional merch.
- A chance to be featured on Aldi’s social media channels.
“Our fans are a key part in fueling ALDI growth - and they’re a huge, special part of the ALDI story. Their passion goes well beyond grocery shopping, it’s a way of life,” Aldi U.S. Chief Operating Officer Dave Rinaldo said in a statement. “The ALDI Quarter Club is our way of honoring that loyalty and deepening our connection with those who have helped shape ALDI into what it is today.”
The contest opened Monday and will run through Aug. 29..
Aldi has found a number of creative ways to stoke its fan base. For example, earlier this month, the discount grocer launched a limited-time mini-merch for the viral Labubu dolls. Aldi has also recently refreshed its clothing line and announced the debut of a new category, Aldi Encore, which brings back fan-favorite items.
