Aldi is hosting a one-night pop-up in New York City to show off its holiday offerings.
On Dec. 3, the discounter will transform a Manhattan cocktail bar into a “tinsel-drenched ALDI wonderland” that will showcase over 400 holiday food and drink offerings Aldi sells, according to a Wednesday announcement.
The pop-up will feature a beverage bar, charcuterie meats and cheeses served in ornaments, hors d'oeuvres, hot cacao and desserts, as well as Aldi Finds holiday decor and photo-ops. Visitors will also receive a free holiday Aldi candle.
The event, named “A Very ALDI Holiday Pop-Up,” will take place at 54 E. 13th St. and is free to attend with a ticket that can be reserved on Eventbrite on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees can choose between two evening time slots to attend, 5:00 p.m. or 7:15 p.m.
Aldi is bolstering its presence in The Big Apple. In August, the grocer announced plans for its entrance into Midtown Manhattan with a 25,000 square-foot store that will reside on the edge of Times Square. The store is expected to open in 2026.
Aldi is also continuing to find unique and trendy ways to connect with consumers, something that has become increasingly apparent on its social media pages. Over the past year, the company has leaned further into trends and culturally relevant content while simultaneously highlighting its products.
Earlier this month, for example, Aldi started selling a small gingerbread-shaped glass travel cup that bears a resemblance to Starbucks’ viral glass teddy bear cup.
