Albertsons is kicking off March with a Stock Up Sale that gives customers a full month of discounts and exclusive offerings.
Running from March 6 to April 2, the sale is happening across nearly every Albertsons store, including those under the Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls and Acme banners, according to a Wednesday blog post from the grocer.
During Albertsons’ Stock Up Sale, customers have three ways to save, the grocer said. The first is “hottest prices” on national brands and other essential items throughout the store, per the announcement.
Albertsons is also offering four times the rewards points to its Free for U members, allowing customers enrolled in the loyalty program to receive additional points when they buy participating products.
The Stock Up Sale is also making more digital coupons available to loyalty program members, according to the blog post.
“This enterprise sales event is all about making shopping easier, smarter and more rewarding, whether you’re stocking up on everyday essentials or discovering new favorites,” Albertsons wrote in a blog post.
With consumers remaining price-conscious amid a shaky economic backdrop, Albertsons’ Stock Up Sale is the latest example of how the grocer is finding creative ways to showcase value.
Late last year, Albertsons announced it now offers extended free trials of Uber One to all of its loyalty program members, giving these shoppers access to Uber One perks.
Albertsons also announced in September the addition of benefits to its U loyalty program that provide members with rebates on travel-related purchases.
