The timing of the event aligns with summer travel, the announcement noted.
Loyalty members earn one point for every $1 they spend on qualifying purchases. The announcement noted that in-store tags and the grocers’ weekly ads will point out which products earn customers quadruple the number of points.
During the event, customers can redeem points for a discount on up to 20 gallons per fill-up with qualifying fuel — up to $20 in savings.
Along with this limited-time offering, Save Mart and Lucky also provide automatic savings for customers through the chains’ Member Pricing program, digital coupons and weekly “Freebie Friday” offers.
